One sleep to go until the the BrisStyle indie Twilight Markets. Here are the promised jewellery wraps that I finished on that lovely mid-week public holiday that was the 'Ekka holiday', aka People's Day for the Royal Queensland Show. See you at King George Square from 5pm tomorrow.

Further preparation for the BrisStyle indie Twilight Markets has resulted in a handful of new zippered purses. Good things come in threes. Tonight I'm cutting out new jewellery wraps which should also be ready by this Friday. See you at King George Square from 5pm. 

Totes cute

In preparation for the BrisStyle indie Twilight Markets that are just around the corner, I have been sewing up a veritable storm. I've a new bag design I've been wanting to make for a while - I finally got myself in a sewing frame of mind again and whipped up these three new totes. Perfect for the weekly shopping trip or even a week end trip to the beach. Each has a handy outer pocket, as well as a divided inner pouch to keep your precious things safe. 

I popped down to Spotlight yesterday and they had handy 20 metre calico rolls for sale, all packaged up and ready to go. Too good to resist. Seems there are plenty more totes to come.

I'm going to go all Joni Mitchell and say that mum and dad paved paradise and put up an air-conditioning unit (actually, they still have quite a spectacular garden *and* a cool house in summer & a warm one in winter!)
